Sci-Fi RP ~Lux in Tenebris~ (Brit)

The Woman stood over her bed stepped across, silently blocking Ruevan, even as Elebron kept talking "Please, she's just not ready to be in public..." He glanced at Faerwyn, before biting his lip "She has a concussion, at least. She needs bed-rest."

Ruevan raised his hand, "I know that, I'm just here to check on her," She heard him speak and her blood ran cold, why did he sound genuinely concerned? That wasn't the Ruevan she knew.

The woman grunted, stepping infront of Ruevan again and shaking her head. She didn't speak, but Elebron made up for that with his words "Please sir, I... I don't think this is wise. In her current state, she seems to think... you plan to hurt her."

Ruevan gave a soft sigh. "Well, I don't. I don't know why she thinks such a ridiculous thing of me." He stated, going forward, but stopping when her guard stopped him.

She didn't know what to say at that point, but was frozen with fear still.

Faerwyn's guard grumbled warningly, her hand dropping to her blade "Ah-ah! There's no need for this, Miss Eris, I'm sure... I'm sure Mr Ruevan wouldn't hurt your charge"

He sighed annoyingly and turned, "Fine, I'll leave her be, but I'll return to see how things progress." And with that he turned, and left the room, leaving the princess to give a silent sigh of relief.

Elebron watched him go with his own relieved sigh, even as the bodyguard stayed still, watching him closely.

She looked to both of them, not recognizing the woman who stood guard by her bedside.

Her bodyguard glanced back, but didn't speak as Elebron leant forward to check her temperature "Hmm... No fever... pupils seem normal... apart from the amnesia, you're in perfect health."

She gave a small frown, "I'm not supposed to be here," She explained further, only wanting to wake up from this illusion.

“I… Miss Faerwyn, I can’t speak for you. But you are here.” He sighed, frowning down “All we can do is wait for your memory to return.”

"My memory does not need to return, for I never lost it," She stated, seemingly firm in her answer.

"I..." Elebron paused at that, biting his lip "Well... Why don't you tell me everything you remember? So... who is your fiancé?"

"An evil man," She shuddered, "But, I agreed to marry him so he wouldn't destroy the rest of...of..." she trailed off, frowning as she actually forgot this time.

Elebron frowned, leaning in and sitting on the bedside "Mmm... Destroy the rest of what, Princess?" he questioned her, even as memories that... weren't hers, would start come into her mind, of a happy life with Ruevan, who had, in those memories, done all he could to save her father from illness, tracking the only thing in the galaxy that could help down and recovering it... Was he... He couldn't be a monster... maybe she had the wrong memories after all...

She frowned as her memories were replaced with something different. "No- no- I...may be mistaken," she spoke, looking worried. Was she really meant to be in this place?

Elebron tilted his head "Well... Do you want to keep talking? It seems to be helping." He murmured, gently touching her hand.

She looked to his hand briefly, wondering what was happening. She felt...weird, to say the least. "I-" She frowned softly. "I'm not sure if that's a good idea," she seemed unsure of herself.

"Well... It's considered good therapy, to talk about your issues. Perhaps by telling me more about this... dream of yours, you'll help your issue." He smiled, his hand gently brushing hers.

She nodded slowly, trying to fight the feelings she had rising up- knowing this Elebron was not the same she knew.

"Well," she began to explain in detail what she remembered, but she left out the part where he had...angrily confessed his love for her.

Elebron gasped when she told him of how he'd injured her, a look of horror on his face "I... I cannot... I would never..." He murmured, before continuing to listen to her, interjecting at points but waiting till the end to speak fully "I... That... I understand exactly why you were so out of sorts when you awoke, Princess."

She gave a small nod, biting her lip softly. She didn't realize that her currently 'lifeless' body laid there in Elebron's arms, her breath rattling slowly as he would rush her to an infirmary.

Elebron in the real world was moving as fast as he could, shoving past people until he got to the med bay, placing her into the auto-doctor and having it start the healing process.

Elebron had fought Reuvan's men, but had been subdued to the point of having watch the bastard prince harm Faerwyn further than what the gunshot wound had did. Again, he had been powerless. But- before Reuvan could go any further, he dumped Elebron there, to watch the princess bleed out. Reuvan had then disappeared with the rest of his men, going to a separate ship, figuring that the royal would die out. He didn't have a need to marry her anymore he figured now, since she was taken out of the equation. He had no inkling though, that Elebron would try to save Faewryn.
-
Faewryn's body laid there under the auto-doctor, but the process took hours, and even as the skin on her scarred- he would feel a new rage boil in his blood, one for the dark prince.

Elebron snarled, rage in his heart as he stalked to the ships bridge. The vessel had been gutted, but the engines still had power. He could escape, get somewhere, find a crew... and then get his revenge.

As he stood brooding out at the bridge, he would hear a weak cough from Fae. "-E-Elebron?" She called out, her entire body sore.

Elebron turned, eyes full of concern "Fae..." He murmured softly, approaching her slowly "How... How do you feel?"

"I feel awful," she groaned softly, trying to sit up. Her shorter hair falling in front of her beautiful face. She didn't notice the concern in his eyes.

He knelt by her bed, shaking his head "I'm not surprised... With what you went through..." He placed a hand on hers "Ruevan... he abandoned us... thought we were dead in space... He probably thinks you just are dead..."

She seemed to have some relief that he was off the ship- and he would notice she hadn't moved her hand from his after she had sat up. "That...that's probably for the best." she mentioned softly, knowing that her and Elebron were the last of their race, as the dark elves only grew in numbers.
